Car for Road Test in Toronto

Need a car for your G2 or G road test? Ezee Driving School offers our training car for road tests in Toronto, with a free 45-minute warm-up lesson right before your test. It's the easiest way to arrive calm, prepared and in a car you know.

You don't have to borrow a friend's car or worry whether a family car will pass the examiner's safety check. Our car is clean, well maintained and set up for road tests, and your instructor makes sure everything is ready before you go in.

What's included

  • Our training car for your test: a Toyota Corolla with airbags and full air conditioning, the same type of car you practise in.
  • A free 45-minute lesson on test day: a warm-up drive before your test to settle nerves and review the skills examiners mark.
  • An experienced, MTO-certified instructor who knows the roads around the test centre.

DriveTest's own road test fees are not included. You pay those to DriveTest when you book your test.

Price and test centres

  • $225 for a local road test at the Etobicoke or Downsview DriveTest centre, including the free warm-up lesson.
  • Other test centres, including Metro East, Port Union and centres outside Toronto: please call for pricing.

Why use a driving school car for your road test

A car you already know

Test day is stressful enough. Driving the same type of car you practised in means you already know the brakes, the steering and the mirrors.

Ready for the examiner

Examiners can refuse to start a test if a car has problems, such as warning lights, worn tires or broken signals. Our instructors check the car before every test so you don't lose your booking.

A warm-up right before the test

The free 45-minute lesson gets you driving smoothly and confidently before you meet the examiner. It's the best way to shake off nerves.
